In August 2009 Colin Elliott and his band Live Issue made history in Nashville when they became the first group from Ireland and only the second band from the UK to appear on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry. The Grand Ole Opry is known worldwide as the premier showcase for Country Music and is also the longest running radio broadcast in the world. The first show was broadcast on WSM radio back in 1926 and today it is listened to and watched by millions of people both in America and throughout the world. In July 2010 Colin was invited to appear once again at the Opry during a concert tour in the southern states of America to launch a new duets album he had produced for George Hamilton IV and many legends from Country and Gospel music. In April 2011 Colin appeared once again at the Grand Ole Opry with Ricky Skaggs and George Hamiliton IV.
Colin gave his life to the Lord when he was only 8 years old through the ministry of Dick Saunders and is currently one of the hardest working Gospel singers in the United Kingdom. He has been involved in Gospel music both in groups and as a solo artist for over 25 years. Colin started singing at the age of fourteen and has been on the road ever since.
Colin’s music ministry spans four very distinct areas, however all are closely related;
Live Issue - Members of the original band reformed in 2006. Live Issue’s musical style has been described as Country Gospel with a bit of Soul thrown in for good measure.

Inside Out - This band grew out of the original Live Issue and changed its name in 1994. Inside Out’s music ministry is mainly contemporary in style and has a wide appeal to most age groups. The majority of Inside Out bookings are for younger audiences.

Solo Work - Colin’s solo singing has been in great demand in recent years. His musical style can merge both the repertoires of Live Issue and Inside Out to suit any audience or age group. In the summers of 2008, 2010 and 2011, Colin undertook solo tours throughout the United States with George Hamilton IV.
Recording and Production - Colin has been involved in music production for around fifteen years. He is a well respected producer and session musician with many successful albums under his belt. In 2011 the duets album entitled "Old Fashioned Hymns and Gospel Songs for Those Who Miss Them!" which Colin produced was nominated for a DOVE award.... the highest award in Gospel music. Colin owns Hillcrest Recordings based in Portadown Co Armagh.
